Mental Health Awareness Month

Mental Health Awareness Month brings communities together to raise awareness about mental health, fight stigma, and provide support for individuals and their families. Each year, the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) joins the movement with a new focus and ways for people to get involved.

This year, NAMI’S message “Together for Mental Health” aims to bring our voices together to advocate for mental health and spread the word through awareness activities. We can come together to recognize that anyone can be affected by a mental health condition and can get the care they need to live a healthy life.

Throughout the month, NAMI will feature personal stories from people who have lived experience. You can share your story, too.

At Community Care, we know that mental health is important every day. During Mental Health Awareness Month, we take the opportunity to celebrate recovery, promote resilience, and share ways we can come together across communities to help each other.
