When you have Medical Assistance (Medicaid), your behavioral health insurance company is based on the county where you live. You do not get to choose because it is automatically assigned to you based on your county. You might not need behavioral health services, but if you do at any time, we are here to help you get services.
How do I cancel this insurance?
You would have to cancel all of your health insurance that you currently get from the state of Pennsylvania. Community Care is part of Medical Assistance (Medicaid). As long as you have Medical Assistance, and you live in one of the counties where we help people, then you can get our services if you ever need them.
