- National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA): A resource about substance use, including information on specific substances and research associated with treatment. Has free materials that can be sent to your home, your treatment provider, or your school to explain substance use.
- Online Mutual Support Groups: A comprehensive list of online mutual support groups, such as Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), Narcotics Anonymous (NA), SMART Recovery, as well as some mutual support groups for families of people with a substance use disorder

- Shatterproof: A website that has information about substance use and how to break down the stigma related to substance use.
- Start Your Recovery: Information on substances, recovery resources (including personal stories), and information about entering treatment.
- Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA): A resource that provides general information about substance use and mental health. Has free materials that can be sent to your home, your treatment provider, or your school.
- Tips to Manage Urges to Use: A webpage that has activities and ideas to sustain your recovery journey.
- Tobacco Cessation: A discussion on the benefits of stopping smoking and the medications that can help.
